20,000+ college students make the spring dean’s list
The Ohio State University announces who made the grades and who graduated
The Ohio State University has issued the dean’s list for spring 2019, with the names of 20,225 students who have achieved top grades for their work. This includes 15,360 Ohio students, 3,320 non-resident and 1,545 international students.
Criteria for the dean’s list varies by college. It is usually based on the GPA for that specific term and the number of credit hours taken. Many colleges require a minimum of 12 graded credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
In addition, the university has issued the list of students who earned degrees at commencement on May 5, 2019. Ohio State awarded a record 12,213 degrees at the ceremony, including 294 doctoral, 811 professional, 1,913 masters, 8,449 bachelors, 663 associates and 83 certificates.
Both the dean’s and graduates lists include Ohio, non-resident and international students. Students are listed by county and then by zip code, city and last name. The files are searchable using the search or find function on your device.
Students may choose not to have their names released under the provisions of the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Their names have been excluded from the lists.
