COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Before last season, Ohio State announced that it had plans to install WiFi systems in both Ohio Stadium and the Schottenstein Center.
Now those plans are in motion.
The new WiFi is being installed in the football stadium according to athletic director Gene Smith, who tweeted out a picture.
Two years ago, The Ohio State University became a founding member of the American Talent Initiative. Now a new report is highlighting the success the initiative is having in finding and educating that talent.
The program, offered through the University Institute for Teaching and Learning, is a voluntary professional development program to provide additional support for teaching faculty and their work in the classroom. The program is available to tenure-track faculty, clinical faculty and lecturers.
Kirwan, chancellor emeritus of the University System of Maryland, joined President Michael V. Drake and Kenyon College President Sean M. Decatur today at the Ohio Union to discuss the American Talent Initiative. The event was hosted by the university’s Center for Ethics and Human Values.
