Advisory: Commuters advised to plan ahead for July 27 traffic delays

Commuters traveling on or near The Ohio State University Columbus campus on Wednesday, July 27, should expect heavy traffic during the afternoon and evening hours. The International Champions Cup soccer match at Ohio Stadium kicks off at 7:30 p.m., while the Honda Civic Tour concert featuring Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas will take place at the Schottenstein Center at 7 p.m. The university anticipates travel and parking challenges and advises commuters to plan ahead. Impacts could include:

  • Beginning at 3:30 p.m., Cannon Drive north of John Herrick Drive and westbound Woody Hayes Drive will be closed.
  • The northbound SR 315 exit to Medical Center Drive may be closed periodically, depending on traffic conditions.
  • Other roadway restrictions will be in place.

All are asked to allow extra time to reach your destination and to use caution while driving, biking or walking on or near campus. For more information, please visit:
