Alumni band prepares to celebrate 35th reunion

More than 600 members of The Ohio State University Alumni Band will be dusting off their marching shoes and polishing their instruments in preparation for the Ohio State vs. Washington halftime show. They will celebrate the organization’s 35th TBDBITL reunion by marching alongside the current Ohio State Marching Band.

To prepare for the halftime debut, the Alumni Band members will practice in uniform during a rehearsal at 2:30 p.m. Saturday (8/30) at the practice field south of Ohio Stadium.

Along with organizing band performances in various venues, the alumni club raises funds for scholarships and helps purchase and maintain instruments for the Ohio State Marching Band.
