Ambassador to United States from Uganda to visit Ohio State
The Ugandan ambassador to the United States and two other Ugandan representatives will discuss “Alleviating Hunger through Agricultural Trade and Technology: Three African Perspectives” with faculty, staff and students.
The event with Ambassador Edith SSempala, Josephine Okot, director of the Uganda Seed Trade Association, and Romano Kiome, director of the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute, is set for 2 p.m. on Thursday (12/11) in room 100 of the Agricultural Engineering Building, 590 Woody Hayes Drive.
The event, which is open to the public, is sponsored by the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, The Center for African Studies and The Office of International Affairs.
