Brief on avian influenza included incorrect information

In Monday’s (2/16) Story Tips for Media release, a brief about an expert who could discuss avian influenza contained incorrect information. Due to an editing mistake, the brief incorrectly stated that an outbreak of avian influenza has occurred in Ohio. The brief should have stated that avian influenza has only been detected in chickens in the states of Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We apologize for any inconvenience.
