*Exhibition:  The Ohio State University, 1870-1995: 125 Years of History,

Theatre:  The Trial, a surrealistic examination of guilt and innocence
involving a bank clerk who becomes victim of an insane and faceless

May 6

*Festival:  Medieval and Renaissance Festival, performers will entertain
with medieval swordfights, plays, a human chessboard, dances, juggling,
magic, music, games, amusements, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., South Oval, 12th Avenue
and College Road; rain site: Ohio Union.  Free.  Michael Gray, 688-2627, or

*Community Clean-up:  The second "High on Pride" litter pick-up in the
neighborhoods surrounding Ohio State by student, faculty, staff and
community volunteers.  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the area south and east of
campus.  Headquarters at the Jesse Owens Recreation Center on West 11th

Greek Week:  Greek Games, fraternities and sororities compete in amusing
contests such as the hot dog and dizzy lizzie relays, 1 p.m., the Oval.

*Book fair:  Multicultural Children's Book Festival, more than 700 books
about different cultures, written for children from infancy to 10th grade;
Michelle Hopkins of WBNS-TV and Diane Bennett of Action for Children will

Rogers Laboratory for Child and Family Studies, 1-5 p.m., The Ohio State

civil rights and cultural matters to President Nixon; Frank Hodsoll,
consultant on federal management and arts education and past chairperson of
the National Endowment for the Arts; Samuel Hope, executive director of the
National Office for Arts Accreditation in Higher Education and executive
editor of Arts Education Policy Review, Carolyn Adams Kahn, member of the
dance faculty at City College of New York and curator of the American Dance
