Clinton Ticket Distribution Extended

TICKETS TO CLINTON SPEECH AVAILABLE TONIGHT 

     COLUMBUS -- The Undergraduate Student Government of The Ohio 
State University has announced that it has extended its ticket 
distribution for to President Clinton's speech tomorrow morning 
at St. John Arena.  Free tickets will now be available at two 
locations throughout this evening.

     The president is making a campaign appearance on the campus 
at the invitation of USG, which extended invitations to both the 
Republican and Democratic presidential campaigns.

     Michael Duga, legislative affairs director of USG, said the
distribution was being extended in order to make the tickets 
available to students and others who were unable to obtain them
between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. today, the originally announced hours.

     Tickets will be available at the USG offices in room 201 of 
the Ohio Union, 1739 N. High St., until midnight.  They also can
be picked up at the front desk of the Fawcett Center, 2400 
Olentangy River Road, all night long.

     There is a limit of two tickets per person.  Tickets must be 
shown to gain entrance to St. John Arena tomorrow morning.  Arena
doors will open at 7 a.m., and all guests must be seated by 8:30 
a.m., when the program will begin.  President Clinton will begin
speaking about 9 a.m.  Guests will have to pass through metal 
detectors at the arena entrances, and all bags are subject to 
search.  Seating is first come, first served.  There will be 
closed circuit TV and audio of the program on the university's 
cable system.  Monitors will be set up for any ticketed guests 
who are not able to be seated within the arena. 

     Free public parking is available in the university's West 
Campus lots, accessible off Lane Avenue at Carmack Road.  There 
is free shuttle bus service between the parking lots and the 
arena.
