Columbus campus classes resume on Friday

The National Weather Service is predicting that accumulating snowfall in Columbus will end around 2 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 4. University landscaping crews continue to work to clear roads and sidewalks in advance of the morning commute.
The Ohio State University Columbus campus will resume in-person classes, as scheduled, on Friday, Feb. 4. Online classes will also occur, as scheduled.
The Office of Academic Affairs strongly encourages faculty to offer flexibility for students that request special accommodations necessitated by weather. The Office of Student Life Disability Services offers support to students. Additionally, paratransit services serves students, faculty and staff with a permanent or temporary disability.
Columbus campus is resuming regular operations. Staff members should work in accordance with their normal schedule, in consultation with their supervisor.
Ohio State takes very seriously our obligation to provide the full measure of instruction to all students. Please plan ahead, allow extra time for travel and dress appropriately for the weather.
PARKING
CampusParc crews continue to treat parking lots and garages but some rooftop parking will be closed due to icy conditions. All garage rooftops are closed except for 9th Avenue East Garage, 9th Avenue West Garage, Neil Avenue Garage and the SAFEAUTO Garage. Visit the CampusParc website for updates. More.

SAFETY TIPS
We recommend that everyone continue to dress appropriately for the weather and use caution while traveling.
- Wear layers of loose-fitting, lightweight, warm clothing.
- Wear outer garments that are tightly woven, water repellent, or hooded.
- Wear a hat – 40 percent of your body heat can be lost from your head.
- Wear mittens that are snug at the wrist; mittens are better than gloves.
- Try to stay dry and out of the wind.

Thursday, Feb. 3: ATI classes are canceled for Thurs. Feb. 3. This includes ATI online classes. The campus is now closed due to weather.
