Commencement details discussed for reporters

Media wishing to conduct interviews about Ohio State’s 360th commencement ceremony may come to Ohio Stadium at 11 a.m. on Thursday (6/13), immediately following commencement rehearsal. Enter through the southeast ramp on the far southeast side of the stadium. Workers will be constructing the stage and other facilities at that time, and a member of the White House team will be available for questions.

Ohio Stadium is being transformed into the site for the upcoming ceremony. The day is especially significant for graduates because President George W. Bush will deliver the commencement address. Bush is only the second sitting president to deliver a commencement speech at Ohio State.

Graduates will rehearse for the ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. Rehearsal will end in the stadium just prior to 11 a.m.
