Denman Research Forum winners to display projects at Statehouse - 05/17/04

Lawmakers and Statehouse visitors are invited to see the winning displays of research projects judged as outstanding at this year’s Denman Undergraduate Research Forum, an annual symposium for Ohio State students.

Fourteen students will display their projects from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday (5/18) in the North Hallway of the Statehouse, near the Governor’s ceremonial office.

In it’s 9th year, the forum showcases the work of nearly 300 undergraduates who conducted research in the following areas: arts/architecture; biological sciences, business/social and behavioral sciences; education/speech and hearing science; engineering; health professions; humanities; mathematical and physical sciences; and psychology.

At this year’s forum, made possible by funding from Richard J. and Martha D. Denman, cash prizes were awarded to first, second, third and fourth-place winners.
