E. Gordon Gee + Constance Bumgarner Married 11+26

E. GORDON GEE AND CONSTANCE BUMGARNER MARRIED IN SALT LAKE CITY

     COLUMBUS --  E. Gordon Gee, president of The Ohio State
University, and Constance M. Bumgarner were married Saturday,
Nov. 26, in the presence of their families at a civil ceremony in
Salt Lake City, Utah.

     Constance Bumgarner Gee is an assistant professor of art
education at Ohio State and directs the graduate program in arts
policy and administration.

     She is the daughter of Marie Bumgarner Campbell of
Burlington, N.C., and the late Clifton Bumgarner.  A graduate of
East Carolina University, she holds a Master of Fine Arts degree
from Pratt Institute and a doctorate in art education from The
Pennsylvania State University.

     Gordon Gee is the son of Vera S. Gee of Salt Lake City and
the late Elwood A. Gee.  He has been president of Ohio State
since September 1990.

     Gordon and Constance Gee will return to Columbus on
Thursday, Dec. 1, and will live in the university residence in
Bexley.
