Facilities Planning Subcommittee meeting scheduled

COLUMBUS – The Ohio State University Board of Trustees has scheduled a meeting of its Facilities Planning Subcommittee to review the progress being made regarding study of plans to lengthen the runway and add hangars at the OSU Airport at Don Scott Field. The meeting is at 2 p.m. July 13 at the Alumni Lounge at the Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road.

William A. "Bud" Baeslack, dean of the College of Engineering, will present the outcomes of the various studies that have been conducted relating to the Airport Master Plan and the impact of potential airport development. He also will discuss the Airport's plans to implement a more sophisticated noise complaint system in an effort to be more responsive to the local community.
