HONORARY DEGREE: The honorary Doctor of Science degree was presented to Solomon H. Snyder, MD, a world-renowned neuroscientist and distinguished service professor of neuroscience, pharmacology, and psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD: The Distinguished Service Award was presented to Ellen J. Tressel, who has worked to fill compelling needs at Ohio State and in the community through service and stewardship.
