HONORARY DEGREE: The honorary Doctor of Science degree was presented to Keith L. Moore, professor emeritus in the division of anatomy at the University of Toronto.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD: Distinguished Service Awards were presented to Randall B. Ripley, professor emeritus in the Department of Political Science, and Elizabeth J. Watters, magistrate with the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.

INVOCATION: Chaplain Christopher A. Ciampa, University Hospitals Pastoral Care.

NATIONAL ANTHEM and CARMEN OHIO: Jilian H. McGreen, undergraduate student, School of Music.
