Free cancer screenings at Ohio State College of Dentistry

As part of National Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week, faculty from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry will provide free screenings and evaluations from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday (4/23) on the first floor clinic of Postle Hall, 305 W. 12th Ave. The event is open to the public and no appointment is necessary.

More than 60,000 Americans will be diagnosed with cancers of the head and neck region and nearly 12,000 will die each year, according to the American Cancer Society.

Patients whose screenings result in significant or suspicious findings will receive referral information.
