Gee to Address University Senate Saturday

                       NEWS ADVISORY
PRESIDENT GEE TO GIVE ANNUAL SPEECH TO UNIVERSITY SENATE SATURDAY

     E. Gordon Gee, president of The Ohio State University, will 
give his annual address to the University Senate at 9 a.m. this
Saturday (9/28) in 103 Kottman Hall, 2021 Coffey Road.

     He will discuss priorities and goals for the university for 
the coming year and present his vision for the future direction 
of Ohio State.

     Texts of the speech will be available at the meeting.

     The University Senate is composed of faculty, administrators 
and student representatives.  It is a legislative and policy-
setting body and is the highest level of the university's 
internal governance system.  The senate meets monthly during the 
academic year.  The president's speech is traditionally a feature 
of the first meeting of the new year.
