Glenn Institute features Sarah Weddington
Sarah Weddington, who at age 26 argued the winning side of Roe v. Wade, will present the inaugural lecture of the John Glenn Institute's new Barbara K. Fergus Women in Leadership Lecture Series at 4 p.m. Wednesday (11/9) in the Fawcett Center Auditorium, 2400 Olentangy River Rd.
Weddington, an attorney, legislator and former presidential adviser, is founder of the Weddington Center, an umbrella for a variety of collaborative endeavors that encourage and facilitate leadership, especially women's preparation for leadership and the commitment to public and civic leadership.
The lecture is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. Media should call Laura Sipe to reserve a seat.
