Hale Center to host 12th annual Thanksgiving Day dinner

A free and traditional Thanksgiving Day dinner will be held for Ohio State University students unable to be with their families from noon to 5:30 p.m. Thursday (11/27) at the Frank W. Hale Jr. Black Cultural Center, 153 W. 12th Ave.

What started 12 years ago as a gathering among 25 students, the dinner has evolved into an international feast that last year fed over 650 students, including those with families. The traditional meal of turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings will be served in three shifts from noon to 1:30 p.m., 2 to 3:30 p.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Everyone attending the dinner must have a ticket. Tickets are available at the Hale Center and the Office of International Education, Room 100 Oxley Hall, 1712 Neil Ave.
