Heritage Festival events conclude Saturday

A community wellness event and a semi-formal dance and dinner will mark the conclusion of the 27th African American Heritage Festival.

“The Medicine Tree” is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (5/7) at Beekman Park, 1999 W. Lane Ave. The event will feature a community marketplace, a three-on-three basketball tournament, and a health fair with free screenings. The event is free and open to the public.

“Mahogany Moments,” a semi-formal dance and dinner, will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday (5/7) at Confluence Park Restaurant-Olentangy Room, 679 W. Spring St. The event is open to Ohio State faculty, staff and students. Tickets with a student ID are $10 per person and $15 per pair, and are available at the Multicultural Center in the Ohio Union, 1739 N. High St.
