Holbrook, Griffin to meet with Conference of Black Mayors delegation
President Karen Holbrook and Alumni Association President and CEO Archie Griffin will highlight university accomplishments at an event with Mayor Michael Coleman and a delegation attending the 31st annual Meeting of the National Conference of Black Mayors.
The event is at 4 p.m. on Saturday (4/30) in the Crane Café and auditorium in Hagerty Hall, 1775 College Road. Before it begins, university representatives and the delegation will take a bus tour of the campus.
Other university participants include Mac Stewart, vice provost for Minority Affairs; Judge Robert Duncan, member of the Board of Trustees; and Gene Smith, director of the Athletics Department. In addition, David Barker, director of public affairs for Experience Columbus, will deliver closing remarks.
