Holbrook is guest reader for second-grade class at a local elementary

President Karen Holbrook of The Ohio State University is among the guests to read to a second-grade class at Indianola Informal Alternative School, 140 E. 16th Ave. The event is a part of National Right to Read Week.

Other guest readers include Ohio State P-12 Director Nancy Nestor-Baker and Columbus Public Schools Superintendent Gene Harris.

The event takes place from approximately 1:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Friday (5/7).

Holbrook will read to a class of approximately 25 second-graders, who will be dressed as their favorite book characters. The reading will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
