Holbrook, Smith, Griffin to present check to American Red Cross

President Karen Holbrook, Athletics Director Gene Smith and Alumni Association President and CEO Archie Griffin will make an official check presentation from Ohio State's "September to Remember" Hurricane Katrina relief campaign to the American Red Cross on Saturday (10/15) in a pre-game ceremony.

The event will take place at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday (10/15) at the president's football pre-game brunch at the Drake Performance and Event Center, 1849 Cannon Dr. The American Red Cross of Greater Columbus will be represented by Michael Carroll, CEO, and Sally Bloomfield, Chair of the Board of Directors.

The check presentation marks the end of the university's "September to Remember" campaign, during which $2 were donated from the sale of each football game day magazine coupled with donation collection sites around Ohio Stadium during the four-game home schedule in September.
