Holbrook to discuss ‘New Campus’ initiative with community leaders
Ohio State University President Karen A. Holbrook will outline an initiative the university is undertaking with Battelle Memorial Institute that will expand the region’s science, technology and education infrastructure as a foundation for economic growth in remarks to the Grandview/Marble Cliff, Upper Arlington and Clintonville Chambers of Commerce at a joint annual meeting.
The event is set for noon on Thursday (4/8) at the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe, 1421 Olentangy River Road.
In her talk, Holbrook will discuss how the “New Campus” initiative will link campus activities, research, arts and entertainment and residential living on a single campus and will create new research and business opportunities at the same time.
Holbrook’s talk will be followed by a Q-and-A session. Ted Celeste, president of the Grandview/Marble Cliff Chamber, will give opening remarks.
