Inter-faith candlelight vigil to take place tonight
In the wake of the U.S.-led war against Iraq, the St. Thomas More Newman Center is hosting an inter-faith candlelight vigil to pray for peace. The vigil is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday (3/20) in the main sanctuary of the Newman Center, 64 W. Lane Ave. Parking is available in the rear of the building.
Other ministries serving students in the Ohio State University area also have been invited to take part in the vigil.
The event will include a candle lighting, which is a sign of peace, and the reading of the Golden Rule, which the major religions of the world follow.
