Jennifer Grimes Wins Student Award

JENNIFER GRIMES RECEIVES STUDENT RECOGNITION AWARD

     COLUMBUS -- Jennifer Ann Grimes of DECATUR, Ohio, a 
graduating senior majoring in family resource management, has won 
the Ohio State University Board of Trustees Student Recognition 
Award. The award was presented during the July 12 meeting of the 
board.

     Grimes was honored for her leadership role at Ohio State. 
She was the 1993 recipient of the Edward S. "Beanie" Drake 
Student Leader Award and Scholarship, and served on the board of 
directors of the scholarship committee. 

     As a member of the Ohio State University Student-Alumni 
Council, Grimes chaired the Survival Kits Project, a project 
which enabled parents of Ohio State students to send their 
children care packages during the week of final exams.  She also 
served as president of Ohio Staters and as coordinator of the 
1992 Ohio Wheelchair Games, which Ohio Staters sponsors.

     Grimes is the daughter of Nancy and Charles Grimes, 630 
Grimes Rd.  She is scheduled to graduate Aug. 29 during the 
summer quarter commencement ceremonies.
