Keith Byars is keynote speaker for third annual "Ethics in American Sports" luncheon

Ohio State All-American and NFL veteran Keith Byars will be the keynote speaker for the third annual "Ethics in American Sports" luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Monday (3/24) at the Hyatt Regency hotel, 350 N. High St.

Also on the program are Gene Smith, assistant vice president and director of Ohio State Athletics, and CeCe Winans, national gospel recording artist.

The luncheon and lecture series is named in memory of Todd Bell, a former Ohio State and NFL football standout, and university administrator with the Office of Minority Affairs. Proceeds will support the Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male at Ohio State, which provides specialized support services to improve the academic performance, graduation rates and professional development of male undergraduate students.
