Koroscik Named Dean of Arts

JUDITH KOROSCIK NOMINATED TO HEAD COLLEGE OF THE ARTS

     COLUMBUS -- Judith Smith Koroscik has been nominated as dean
of the College of the Arts at The Ohio State University.  Richard
Sisson, senior vice president and provost, announced Tuesday
(7/8) that he will recommend Koroscik to President E. Gordon Gee
and the university's Board of Trustees for a five-year, renewable
appointment as dean.  Subject to trustee approval, her
appointment will be effective on Aug. 1.

and she has a proven track record as an extremely able
administrator in an academic institution and center for the
arts,
