Update: Larry Wallington funeral procession to arrive on campus between 10:15 and 10:45 Monday morning

Funeral procession for Larry Wallington to travel through campus Monday morning; University show of support encouraged

Between approximately 10:15-10:45 a.m. on Monday (3/15), the funeral procession for Larry Wallington, the OSU maintenance supervisor lost in the tragic events of Tuesday (3/9), will travel through campus en route to Union Cemetery. The university encourages a show of support and invites students, faculty and staff to line the streets (as pedestrians) as the procession travels along Woody Hayes Drive to pass the Fisher College of Business and Ohio Stadium, two places Larry loved.

Traffic along this route will be impacted as the campus community pays its respects to Larry and his family. The university plans to have T&P Traffic Control Officers and OSU Police Officers stationed at intersections throughout campus on Monday morning to direct traffic through and to close affected intersections during the procession.

The funeral procession will enter campus westbound on Woodruff from High Street and will make its way to the cemetery via the following route: Westbound Woodruff, past the Fisher College of Business and through the Tuttle Park Place intersection; westbound Woody Hayes Drive to Cannon Drive; southbound on Cannon Drive, past Ohio Stadium, to Herrick Drive; westbound on Herrick Drive, crossing the Herrick Drive Bridge to Olentangy River Road; and northbound on Olentangy River Road to Union Cemetery (by Channel 4).
