Marching band prepares instruments for Ohio State-Michigan game
The Ohio State University Marching Band’s sousaphone and baritone players will be undergoing final preparations for the Ohio State-Michigan football game at an instrument cleaning party from 7 to 9 p.m. today (11/19) on the second floor of the Steinbrenner Band Center, located on the northeast side of Ohio Stadium, near gate 14.
Band members polish their instruments using toothbrushes, baking soda and water. The cleaning party is held before each home game and is an ongoing tradition to ensure the instruments sparkle and shine during game-day performances.
