WHAT: The Ohio State University Department of Public Safety will be joined by fellow law enforcement, community groups and neighborhood partners for a pre-shift “Rolling Roll Call” meeting to promote crime prevention and student safety. Safety representatives and officers will then head out for duty. During their shift, all will focus on engaging students and members of the university community to talk about safety resources and encourage safe behaviors while distributing crime prevention tip cards. This effort aims to educate students, faculty, staff and community members about safe habits and university resources to increase safety and deter crime. The university will also announce enhanced resources to curb crime on and off campus.
