Media availability to be held Monday (8/29) to discuss Ohio State''s 2011 home football season

A media availability highlighting plans for the Ohio State 2011 home football season will be held at 10 a.m. Monday (8/29) in the Ohio Stadium press conference room located at Gate 32, third floor. The Buckeyes open their campaign hosting Akron at noon on Sept. 3.

The briefing provides an opportunity for media to gather important information and interviews with key Ohio State officials working to ensure that Ohio State football is enjoyed in a safe and family-friendly atmosphere for all guests.

Participants include: Paul Denton, chief, University Police; Corey Hawkey, sustainability coordinator, Zero Waste at Ohio Stadium; Mike Penner, associate athletics director, Event Management; Brett Scarbrough, senior director, Athletics Ticketing; Beth Kelley-Snoke, director, Transportation and Parking Services; and Jon Woods, director, Ohio State Marching Band. Neal Majumber, student president of the Ohio State Sportsmanship Council will also be available to discuss the “Best Fans in the Land” campaign.
