Media briefing to highlight Ohio State vs. Michigan sportsmanship initiatives

In preparation for the storied football match-up between Ohio State and Michigan on Nov. 18, a media briefing will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday (11/13) to provide reporters with access to key individuals and pertinent information for their coverage of university and city planning and game-day preparations. The briefing will be held at the Ohio Stadium media room, Gate 32, third floor.

Athletics Director Gene Smith, Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman, and Katie Krajny and Robbie Beaulieu, student co-chairs for the Ohio State Sportsmanship Council, will highlight Ohio State's new sportsmanship initiatives, including newly introduced public service announcements.

Mitch Brown, public safety director for the city of Columbus and Rick Amweg, assistant chief for University Police, will also attend to discuss traffic, stadium security and public safety efforts. Rich Hollingsworth, vice president for Student Affairs, will outline many of the student activities planned for "Beat Michigan Week."
