Ohio State University President Michael V. Drake is on the road this week for the first of his two annual state tours.

Drake is joined by a group of fellow travelers including students, faculty and staff. His itinerary in northwest Ohio includes stops at some classic locations like the Wilson Football Factory in Ada and Lima’s Kewpee Hamburgers.

A visit to the university’s Marion campus will include a discussion on the new Alliance for the American Dream project. Drake will join Bowling Green State University President Rodney Rogers in Bowling Green to discuss the issues of access and affordability in higher education.

Drake and members of the Ohio State community will also go on the Roads Scholars tour in July to meet with alumni and local leaders in northeast Ohio.

The summer state tours are part of Drake’s mission to take the university’s values on the road as the flagship land-grant institution in Ohio.
