Officials to outline plans for football home games

A media briefing to provide information on stadium policies, parking, and security before the start of The Ohio State University football season will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday (8/26), following Coach Jim Tressel's weekly media luncheon at the Jack Nicklaus Museum, 2355 Olentangy River Rd.

Officials attending are Paul Denton, chief of University Police; Sarah Blouch, director for Transportation and Parking Services; and Bill Jones, assistant athletics director for ticketing; and Mike Penner, assistant athletics director for event services, in the Department of Athletics. Maggie Sweeney, student president of the Ohio State Sportsmanship Council will also be available to discuss the "Best Fans in the Land" 2008 campaign.

This availability will be the media's best opportunity to gather information and secure interviews before Ohio State's opener against Youngstown State on Aug. 30.
