Ohio State and Columbus State to announce partnership to make transferring easier

The presidents of Columbus State Community College and Ohio State University will make a joint announcement of a new access initiative on Tuesday (4/5). The Preferred Pathway Program will guarantee a path to an Ohio State baccalaureate degree for qualified students transferring from Columbus State.

Presidents David Harrison and E. Gordon Gee will discuss the plan, which launches in autumn 2011, in a news conference at 3 p.m. on Tuesday (4/5) at the Columbus State Conference Center, located on the 4th floor of the Center for Workforce Development, 315 Cleveland Ave.

In addition to the presidents, officials from both institutions and Columbus State students will be available for interviews.
