Ohio State back-to-school media briefing set for Sept. 12

A media briefing to help assignment editors and reporters cover the wide array of activities related to the start of The Ohio State University school year will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday (9/12) in 60 Page Hall, 1810 College Rd. The one-hour event will serve as a great planning tool for members of the news media covering back-to-school stories at Ohio State.

At the event, Ohio State officials will reveal the demographics of the incoming class and discuss why the university has become so successful at recruiting and retaining high-quality students. Also covered, will be the many ways Ohio State builds a sense of community and helps students feel at home. Story ideas, resource people and news tips to help cover the start of the new school year will be provided and a number of students will be available to talk about their Ohio State experiences.

WHERE: John Glenn School of Public Affairs
Room 060 on the first floor of Page Hall, 1810 College Rd.
(1st classroom when entering the facility)
Parking is available next door at the Ohio Union Garage.
