Ohio State expert can discuss major power outage

Robert Burns, a senior research specialist at Ohio State’s National Regulatory Research Institute, is available to discuss the major power outage that struck dozens of cities in the United States and Canada. He can be reached at (614) 292-9307.

He is the most senior researcher and policy analyst at the institute with more than 22 years of public utility and natural resource experience. He has been with the institute’s Electric and Gas Research Division since 1980. Burns is currently working on electric utility restructuring issues, including reliability and quality of power service.
