Ohio State hosts international New Year's Eve party

The Ohio State University is hosting an international New Year's Eve party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Tuesday (12/31) in the Ohio Union Ballrooms, 1739 North High St.

The event, “Times Square at the Ohio Union,” will feature global and Top 40 music, dance exhibitions and competition, light refreshments and children's activities from 10 to 11:30 p.m. Music will be provided by DJ Ray “Ritmo” Arebalo.

Participants will have the chance to win prizes that include a round-trip ticket to Paris.

This is an alcohol-free campus event and admission is $1. All proceeds for ticket sales and donations for commemorative CDs will be given to Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
