Ohio State's Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service - Jan. 20. Up to 1,000 Ohio State students, faculty and staff will gather on Monday, Jan. 20 to honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King through a day of service.
Volunteers will meet in the Ohio Union beginning at 7:45 a.m. with music and other performances during registration. They will board buses at 8:45 a.m. and go to volunteer work sites all over Central Ohio.

Photo opportunity: Outdoor Ice Skating on Campus – Jan. 21-22. Ohio State students can glide and slide where they normally walk as the Office of Student Life’s Department of Recreational Sports turns the volleyball and basketball courts west of the RPAC (Recreation and Physical Activity Center, 337 W. 17th Ave.) into a temporary ice rink. The rink will be open for student skating from 5 to 9 p.m. on both Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Wednesday, Jan. 22. In addition to skating, students can try their hand at milk jug curling.
