Ohio State nursing students to offer flu shots Thursday at Schoenbaum Family Center at Weinland Park

COLUMBUS – Students from The Ohio State University College of Nursing, directed by clinical instructor Paula D'Auteuil and in collaboration with Columbus Public Health, will provide flu shots to adults from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday (11/15) at the Schoenbaum Family Center at Weinland Park, 175 E. Seventh Ave.

Nursing students, led by graduate student Sarah Clawson of Columbus who organized the community service project, have been distributing fliers throughout the Weinland Park neighborhood to alert area residents. The $25 fee is waived for individuals who meet income guidelines.

The Schoenbaum Family Center is the cornerstone of the partnership between the Ohio State College of Education and Human Ecology and the community to enhance early childhood education and family well-being as a stimulant to community success.
