Ohio State releases autumn 2020 dean’s list and graduates

More than 26,000 Buckeyes earn academic honors

The university’s autumn 2020 dean’s list names 26,044 students who have achieved top grades for their work. This includes 19,760 Ohio students, 4,515 non-resident and 1,769 international students.

Criteria for the dean’s list varies by college. It is usually based on the GPA for that specific term and the number of credit hours taken. Many colleges require a minimum of 12 graded credit hours with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Ohio State is also issuing the list of students who earned degrees at commencement on Dec. 13, 2020. The university awarded 3,751 degrees at the ceremony, including 208 doctoral, 3 professional, 424 master’s, 2,638 bachelor’s, 438 associate degrees and 40 certificates.

Both the dean’s and graduate lists include Ohio, non-resident and international students. Students are listed by county and then by zip code, city and last name. The files are searchable using the search or find function on your device.

Students may choose not to have their names released under the provisions of the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Their names have been excluded from the lists.
