Ohio State students help feed hungry children
The Children’s Hunger Alliance has joined forces with two Ohio State organizations to help change the fact that one in every six Ohio children goes to bed hungry. Ohio Staters and Phi Sigma Pi honors fraternity are offering “Volunteer a Meal,” where Ohio State students, faculty and staff with on campus dining plans can donate a meal to benefit the alliance. The cost of each meal donated will be given to the alliance.
The “Volunteer a Meal” event will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday (5/14) at Kennedy Commons, 251 W. 12th Ave. The program has raised more than $12,000 for the alliance.
