Ohio State will host annual Thanksgiving Day dinner

The Ohio State University will host its 13th annual Thanksgiving Day dinner from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday (11/25) in the Ohio Union ballrooms, 1739 N. High St.

The dinner is free to the university community, although a ticket is required for admission. Tickets are available at the Frank W. Hale Black Cultural Center, 153 W. 12th Ave. and the Office of International Education, 100 Oxley Hall, 1712 Neil Ave.

Nearly 1,000 people are expected to take part in a traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey and stuffing with all the trimmings. The dinner that initially started as a gathering of 25 students at the Hale Cultural Center has evolved into an international feast for faculty, staff, students and their families who are unable to travel home for the holiday.
