Ohio State’s Board of Trustees visits Wooster campus

WOOSTER, Ohio – The Ohio State University Board of Trustees will meet on the Wooster campus of the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012.

At the beginning of the meeting, State Rep. Ron Amstutz will make an announcement regarding Wooster campus reconstruction. Nearly two years ago, on Sept. 16, 2010, OARDC was hit by a tornado that destroyed a number of buildings, greenhouses and other structures that supported critical research projects.

OARDC is the research arm of Ohio State’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.

Reporters are invited to the board’s open session, to be held from 2:45-4 p.m. at Shisler Conference Center, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster.
