OHIO STATE WILL HOST DINNER TO CONCLUDE TRADE SUMMIT
The Ohio State University will host a dinner on campus
Friday evening (10/21) to conclude the World Summit on Trade
Efficiency. Some 140 Trade Point directors, international
visitors and university officials are expected to attend the
dinner.
The dinner will be preceded by a reception at 6 p.m. in the
lobby of Mershon Auditorium. The dinner will begin at 7 p.m. in
the Wexner Center for the Arts. E. Gordon Gee, president of Ohio
State, will welcome the guests about 7:15 p.m. Columbus Mayor
Greg Lashutka will address the guests after dinner about 8:30
p.m. Following the dinner, guests may board buses for a tour of
German Village.
Reporters may cover the reception and dinner. Reporters who
wish to eat at the dinner should contact Steve Sterrett, director
of news services, at 292-8472 by noon on Friday.
The dinner is being sponsored by Ohio State's offices of
Academic Affairs and Research. Richard Sisson, senior vice
president for academic affairs and provost, and Edward F. Hayes,
vice president for research, will greet the guests.
