President Drake Joins Governor in Banning Letter that Has Little Value to Buckeyes Anyway

COLUMBUS - Ohio State University President Michael V. Drake today banned the use of the letter M on Ohio State campus through Saturday.

Ohio State's president made the announcement on the eve of the 111th edition of the greatest rivalry in sports, as Ohio State faces its adversary from the university to the north off U.S. Route 23 in Ann Arbor.

"From Mirror Lake to Morrill Tower, we will be turning this letter upside down and getting another W," said Dr. Drake.

Gov. John Kasich and Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor declared Saturday, November 29, 2014, "Scarlet Letter Saturday." In addition, the resolution bestows a great honor upon members of the college football playoff committee, making them all honorary Ohioans.
