Program offers opportunities to non-traditional women students

President Karen Holbrook and other university officials will be on hand for the annual Critical Difference for Women luncheon. The program is set for 11:30 a.m. on Thursday (5/19) in the atrium of the Physics Research Building, 191 W. Woodruff Ave.

Ohio State’s Critical Difference for Women, which was developed in 1986, is a unique scholarship/grant-offering program available to women. It was developed to identify and fund the needs of women seeking to further their education and enhance their professional lives.

Speakers include Ingrid Saunders Jones, chair of The Coca-Cola Foundation and senior vice president for external corporate affairs for The Coca-Cola Company. In addition, scholarship award recipients associated with the program will share their personal stories on how the scholarship has affected their educational experience.
