Reserved parking available for RV's for Ohio State football season

For the first time, Ohio State football fans who park RV's in campus parking lots will have a reserved spot waiting for them.

This year, all RV football parking will be sold in advance on the Internet through the Athletics Department website, www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com . The policy, which was announced last year, is part of a program to improve RV parking availability and reduce congestion. The goal is to eliminate the need for fans to come early to get a "good" parking space and improve the overall visitor experience.

In previous years, day of game RV parking passes were sold on game day only, on a first-come, first-served basis and fans paid as they entered the lot. It was not uncommon to see RVs lined up for blocks to secure a space when the lots opened.

There is no day-of-game parking available. Spaces are all pre-assigned, and are held for the permit holder until 90 minutes prior to kick off. RV parking lots open at 5 a.m. on the day of each home football game. This will be the only method of ordering; no walkup or phone orders will be accepted. The cost per game for a reserved RV parking space is $90.

Reserved RV spaces are located in Buckeye lots 1, 2 and 3 at the corner of Fred Taylor Drive and Ackerman Road. There are a total of 141 spaces available (click here for the RV parking map).

Fans may purchase one RV parking permit per game based on availability. All permits ordered 7 days in advance of any game will be mailed. Permits purchased the week of the game must be picked up by 5 p.m. Friday prior to the game at the Athletic Ticket Office will-call window in the Schottenstein Center.

For fans not wishing to purchase OSU RV parking, or who are unable to purchase parking for the games desired, alternate RV parking is available at the Ohio Expo Center (with shuttle buses to and from the game available). During October, the Expo Center is not available due to the All American Quarter Horse Congress, so arrangements have been made with the Franklin County Fairgrounds for overnight RV parking.
