Scholarship fund to be established in memory of former Battelle president Bertram Thomas

COLUMBUS – A significant scholarship fund at The Ohio State University in memory of former Battelle president Bertram Thomas will be announced at 11:30 a.m., Monday, (2/20) at Ohio State's Faculty Club, 181 South Oval Drive. Ohio State faculty and staff will join officials from Battelle and members of the Thomas Family in announcing the details of the scholarship program, which will create a living legacy within the university's Department of Chemistry.

Thomas is credited with making major achievements as president of Battelle from 1958-1968 and was a valuable member of the Ohio State University Board of Trustees from 1965-1969.
